    Perfect pass install questions

Hey all.. I have 2001 2100v limited with the 350 mag mpi... anyway I am trying to hook up the perfect pass system and was told you can replace either your speedo or rpm Guage. . So I decided on the speedo but there is a whole mess of wires hooked up to the back of my stock Faria Guage. .. I can trace back most of the wires and believe that I should be able to reroute some to the rpm gauges or eliminate as some are just piggy backed already from the tach. .. anyway I have 2 that I just can't figure out where they go or if I just leave them that it will be no good for the rest of the boat.. one is a red wire with a white stripe.. Def finely stock as it goes into a big harness.. it was hooked up to the very right pole on back of my Guage which that pole is blank.. (all the other ones are marked..ground..batt..sig ) but that is the only one that has nothing. ... my other wire is a green wire that has been spliced off a bunch of other versions small wires... but this wire was the only one that was hooked to the signal post on the back of the speedo.. anybody any thoughts on where I can hook these back up? And just so everyone knows my tach Guage has almost as many wires so either way I am figuring out where to put some wires... anyway thanks and if you need pics I can try and post some later

Rather than figure out what they go to, figure out of they are B-, B+ or switched, B+ based on the terminals they were on, on the back of the original speedo. I would look to avoid stacking more terminals on the remaining gauges and consider installing a separated BUD bar that can be divided into whats needed.

Purple wires are all powered from purple at your ignition switch so gauge would power up with key in IGN. Black is ground, blue is to light gauge when nav switch is hit. It's been a while since I've done a PP on that gen of tige. If you have stargazer you won't need green anymore as it was signal from paddlewheel. I have always wondered about the red and white. Have always left it disconnected and never had an issue.

Chpthril... I will definitely look into the bud bar as every single guage has about 5+ wires that seem to jump off and connect either to the next guage or??.....
free... that's perfect and for sure exactly what I was looking for as I knew the "simple install" of the star gazer had to be easier... the red with white stripe definitely had me baffled but as long as you said you have left it and had no issues I feel a little better....

There is just a lot of wires hooked up to every guage... kinda drives me nuts just thinking about... haha
