    Tige Touch Speed Control Issues

Having issues with my Tige Touch on my 2015 Z3...

Screen is sporadically unresponsive (I have cleaned thoroughly with Windex)
Speed control starts out working fine but after an hour or so, the speed jumps between settings (22 mph, 11 mph, 28 mph, ...) - VERY ANNOYING WHEN MY WIFE IS TRYING TO PULL ME!
Screen pulls up the settings matrix for the upper right hand boxes on the home screen (e.g. Air Temp, Water Temp, Depth, Clock,...). Box goes away after pressing the "X" but pops right back up after a brief period of time. VERY ANNOYING

    Anybody having these issues?

Tige thinks it may be GPS unit impacting the speed control issues, but speed seams to be ok other than cruise control.

Battery voltage is good and both batteries are on.

I have also tried shutting batteries down for 10 seconds and restarting, but not helping.

    thanks!

I'd be surprised if Windex is the right choice for the TT2 screen (probably just a damp rag recommended) but I'd also be surprised if its your problem.

Having the dealer reflash the software seems to cure the few random issues like this I have heard of.

My audio will sometimes freeze up, but resetting the batteries solves it. When was the last update your dealer did to your screen? I have my dealer updated to the latest version once a year to avoid any possible issues. Works great and GPS hasn't had any issues, unless I go under a wide bridge.

I am having the same issues. The audio control kicks out every now and then... waiting for new polk firmware

          Thanks for the input...
I did have a software update last winter but I guess I will take it in and have them do it again...
I was told by the Tige tech that they recommended Windex to clean the screen - not sure if that is the thing to do, but that is what they told me.
Anybody else having cruise control issues?
          thanks!!!!!!!

I'd do what the tech said then! I did have an occasional screen freeze issue that seemed to be connected to the radio somehow. The firmware update fixed that problem. Never had a speed control issue, but occasionally my depthfinder loses its mind at above surf speed or on a very deep lake. Stresses my wife out.

Make sure the dealer checks the Taps plate and AVX operation if you have it. Some of the updates didn't accommodate the difference in rams on my boat (I have a very early 15).

I have an early 2015 Z3 with AVX also - I will have him check Taps & AVX operation as well.
