    Latest TT Viper unit update

    Hi I have a 2013 RZR I have updated the viper unit software to v01444 08
    Everything is working ok but now my house and crank voltage read very different
    Crank voltage is 12.3v .House voltage now reads 18.6v. Has anyone else had this issue ?
    Has anyone got the earlier 2012/13 update with Bluetooth that I can download please?image.jpgimage.jpg

    Im guessing this is with engine off as I see 0 oil pressure. Have you checked with the engine running? I seriously doubt the battery is holding 18+ volts, so I would guess its a glitch.

      I'm curious because my 2014 Z3 built in late aug/early sep frequently reads 1.2 volts crank. First time it scared me, but the boat has always started.......
      Once started it will report a normal reading.
      Reminds me of my Ford Expedition. From day one, the oil gauge would frequently drop to near zero then before I could get to the dealer, it would read normal. Wasn't much of a problem until the day it threw a rod. $6k for a new engine........

        Problem solved

        The reason I posted this is because it seamed my dealer was not helping find a solution.and I was wondering if I was the only one in the world with Tige touch problems.
        It has taken my dealer 13 months and 4 Viper units to sort all the issues with the TT
        It turns out the software they had was corrupt and causing glitches. Tige gave them another copy of the latest software, they loaded it on another Viper unit, water tested it in another boat and sent it to me.
        It works perfectly now It is way more responsive especially when it comes to the stereo controls. Now I can even adjust the backlight dim level on the Tige touch.
        I am not at all happy with the way my dealer took 13months to fix the problems. (Shame on you). I am very very happy that it is finally fixed.

          I have a 2011 and have never updated the software. Can anyone who has tell me if it is worth doing? What additional items have they added or updated?

            X2 - I have a 2012 and never updated. I am worried it mess things up as some people have experienced. What would I gain if anything?

              Sounds like the dealer is marginal, but Tige Corporate comes through again! Absolutely great bunch of folks down there in Texas.
