Well time to finish up my battery system. Last spring added dual batt with Blue Seas ACR. Happen to be walking thru Walmart last night picked up a Minn Kota dual bank charger for $20. Kinda hard to pass that up. Now I have to figure out where im going to put it and change ACR wires around a bit. That locker is getting full. Has anyone tried glueing a piece of wood to the outer hull wall to mount to? If so what kinda glue did you use?

That would work but on the older Ddrives we don't have that panel. But I did figure out a pretty easy mount. Got 2 L brackets going to put the lower leg under one of my battery boxes screwed to the floor then put the box back on top of it. Then the charger will mount to the upright part of the L bracket. Here's pick of current locker

Well my easy idea for mounting makes it too hard to get the 2nd battery out of the locker so had to scratch that idea. So i got the razor blade out cut out a carpet square on the hull and glued some treated wood to it. Hopefully the glue will harden up nice and hold the 12lb charger up. Since its on an angle that should help it. Only time will tell once I fully mount the charger. But it will be out of the way and I will be able to see the indicator lights on it really easy. It really sucks working in that locker when its 100 out even with a box fan blowing on ya. Was a lot easier to work on in February inside my shop.
