05 22v switches and stock crossovers

I was under the helm looking at the wiring and was curious about a few things. I've got a docking lights switch but no docking lights. I've got a switch labelled tower (aft/bow), what is that for? I've got 2 ACC with just one with a connected I think I traced it to the heater/shower circuit thing. I eventually want to install some transom lights and would probably use the available switches.

I also can't find 3 crossovers. I've found 3 but I would expect to find one for each stock component set of which I have 6.

    Tower lights i believe.

Those Carling switches will easily handle 20+ amps, so no worries with adding typical transom lights.

Which x-overs cant you find? Since you are upgrading to complete new component sets, the actual x-overs arent needed, but the wires from the amps to them, is needed. Or just run new wires.

The only light on the tower is the white anchor light.

I was just trying to track what I'm gonna do with the new speakers. I cannot find either crossover for the bow speakers. I found 1 crossover in front of the helm presumably for the under helm set. I have 1 crossover on the port side in the mid-aft compartment. it goes to the port mid-aft. It appears the remaining aft and stbd aft speaker is connected somehow behind the bench seat. hopefully I do not have to remove the bench to take care of this.

most likely will just run new wire from the amp. what gauge should I use?

        14ga speaker is perfect.

I know with the 06 model, Tige pre-wired the helm for tower lights and thats eactly how the switch on ours was labeled.

My 06 24 V has the tower switch as well and it is for tower lights along with all the other switches that go to nothing. It gives you a lot of switches to work with for other things. As far as your cross overs go Mike is correct as usual. Mine had new speakers that were purchased from Mike and unfortunately installed by a lazy a**. They left all of the cross overs and spliced other wiring in and the speakers sounded like crap ( basically no volume). I rewired directly from the amp to each speaker with new wiring from Mike and they are full volume now. I threw all the crossovers away along with all the stock wiring. I am replacing my small tweeters with LED lights.

Mike, the new Kickers come with xovers. I need to use those right? I just really want to find all of the items I need to rip out.

Yes, the new KM6500.2's do come with their own cross-overs and yes, you must use them. They can be mounted remotely or better yet, bolted to the back of the mid-bass. Here's a pic of the cross-over on the back of the speaker. If depth is an issue, then you can locate the cross-over off the side.
