2008 20V SpeedSet Replacement Suggestions

I've got an '08 20V, and the SpeedSet up/down buttons haven't worked for almost a year. I've tried all sorts of things to no avail. I guess I need to replace some part of it...not sure which (any ideas there?). Before doing so I was curious if anyone has replaced these with something better like Perfect Pass, Tige Touch (is that even possible?), etc. What do you guys suggest - and if you have an approximate idea of the cost involved that'd be awesome too. Here's a low-quality pic of the giant *** buttons in my current setup:

On my control panel the down button was the only one that work on mine. I replace the control panel
And everything worked fine. I think to replace it was a plug at the and two nuts.

cool thanks! do you remember about how much it cost to replace the control panel and where you got it from? i got one estimate of almost $900 which seems way too high...
