    2011 24ve Dual Battery diagram

    Hi all,

Looking for some help. We have a couple of Tige boats - 07 22ve and a 11 24ve. An idiot that works with me always takes the batteries out of the boats after winterization without taking pictures of the correct wiring sequence. (he also takes the fire extinguishers out breaking the plastic clamps but thats another issue)

Obviously I want to get the batteries back in and do it right. Anyone have the diagram? I am pretty sure the 22 has been wired up incorrectly by the same guy in the past and I want to put that right also.

    Matt,

The problem is that no real diagram exists and those cables are not labeled.

Are boat boats still factory as far as amps, battery banks and switch? Did they both come with the Tige EIDB Dual Battery option? Does the 2011 have a "OFF" "ON" "COMBINE" switch, where as the 07 has just as a simple "ON" "OFF" switch? To a degree, trust the memory of the cables. Over time, they have a tendency to take a shape and will want to almost fall right back in place. If my memory serves me right, the inboard battery is the house and the outboard is the cranking. You may have to trace down some cables to see where they go.

On the 07, the amps B+ and GND will terminate to the house battery. The helm BUSS will also connect to the house battery. Its the red cable with the breaker thats bolted to the transom behind the batteries. The large cable connected to the ON/OFF switch will go to the cranking battery. Main ground goes to the cranking battery and then theres a black cable that connects the GND posts of each battery. There will be a brown w/red strip wire with an inline fuse thats the auto-bilge that gets connected to the cranking battery.
