    Dual battery

The combiner is another option. As far as the batteries never being charged using the isolator, I never checked the voltage but both batteries have been in the boat since 1999. I have never ben stranded and the strereo works fine after shutting the motor down and hanging out on the water. I have a amp, 12 sub woofer, CD changer, cassette, boston accoustic seperates, mid and tweets.

I have no pictures. If you choose to go the isolator route, the instructions for the battery connection/alternator is straight forward. A stereo install place can install this also as they do this for cars.

Kelley, I didn't say that the isolator wouldn't charge the batteries, what I said was that there is a voltage drop across ordinary isolators, which could result in your batteries not being *fully* charged. To be honest, I used an isolator in the past for years with no problems, but the combiner or solenoid seems to be the more popular way to go now.
