Starting Issue

Just bought an 03 22v, and having trouble getting it to start. Got the perko switch in right position, when I turn the key on all the guages and lights come on but it won't start. It just makes a winding noise. Batteries have been on charger. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is the winding noise while you are hitting the key? If so, sounds like you have a bad starter solenoid not getting the bendix out to engage the flywheel.

Yep. Kinda what I was thinking. I'm new to this, so just wanted to make sure I wasnt doing something wrong.
