    Speedometers

I have a 97 Pre2150 and both speedometers are out of commission. One has a broken pickup that I am going to replace, but I would like to have some idea how to fix both. I understand that the speedos work based upon air pressure into the pilot tube, but I am stumped beyond that....

I would suggest just getting perfect pass and using that as your speedo.

I found that one of mine was disconnected at a union in back of gas tank. I disconnected at the speedometer and the pickup and blew compressed air and could here it leaking. I then figured out where that extra water was coming in.

Hey, I have a 97 2150 and am in San Clemente. Small Tige' world! I don't know about your speedos though. Here is a link. I hope that will help your situation. I have noticed a green Tige' parked in front of Weseloh Chevrolet lately. What color is yours?

          Green Tige

Hey Team Allen: I have a tan & green Tige, but I am pretty sure it was still in my storage yard over the weekend. We should grab a beer sometime this Fall after the kid's school starts. The speedo repair will have to wait until after we get back from Lake San Antonio & the Delta next week!
