Intermitant stereo speakers

I've got a 2003 22V with about 280 hours and I've had a problem for awhile with the stereo speakers cutting in and out. It's a Clarion system. the speakers in the bow always work, but the ones in the main cabin area and the sub under the steering wheel don't work sometimes when the boat is just turned on. Then all of a sudden after 30-60 seconds they'll all come on and work fine. Sometimes after this happens they'll still only work intermittantly. Any ideas on where to start?

Intermitant stereo speakers

I had the same problem. The forward speakers worked fine and the aft speakers and the one under the dash dropped off line. When I had it checked it was the Clarion Amplifier that had stopped working. I was told this is not a new problem with Clarion and I was lucky enough to still be under warranty.
