Can I add RGB/mood lighting to Alpha Z Tower?

I have a 2013 Z1 with an Alpha Z tower that did not come with the RGB/mood lighting. Can I add it and still control it through the Tige Touch? I see there is an option for it.

The 2013 Medallion system does not have a means to control RGB lighting. You power an RGB controller on and off, but you cannot control the lighting.

Depending on the tower speaker brand/model, you may be able to install RGB LED rings in them. The the tower has the down firing courtesy lights in the tower, you may be able to change them out to an RGB light. You would need to pull wire through the tower also.
