At the end of my first day out with my boat (2000 21V) I couldn't get it to start. I thought I had a bad battery or some other ignition problem. Turns out it was just the throttle not being in the neutral position. I got it started the next day by moving it around a bit. But, that wasn't before I did a lot of online research to figure out how to diagnose the problem. Figured I would share what I found in case someone else needs to diagnose the problem. I ended up finding three really helpful videos explaining the entire ignitiion system and how to check at each step. Only issue is the videos are for cars, but the basics are the same.
