    tower lights wiring

Just purchased this boat and am new to this sight and finding it helpful. I am looking to install tower lights onto my 06 20V. The switch is already install in the dash switch cluster and blue wires are connected to it from factory. My question where do I pick up the leads to run the wiring up into the tower? Thankful for any help, TW

Welcome to the site and congrats on the 20V.

There are probably a couple of wires tucked up into the main harness under the helm area that are labeled TWR/FWD and TWR/RR (or something like this) but you will have to run your own wires up the tower for the lights. You'll need 3 if you want front and rear lights controled sepperately - ground for all lights, Pos for front and Pos for rear.

You will need to make sure that the wire behind the dash and what you run up the tower can handle the amperage being drawn. Each 55W lamp will draw about 4.5 amps.

See the wire capacity chart from the following link.

In the Downloads section of tigeowners.com there are schematics that may help.

Here is the link to the wiring diagrams that covered the 2006 20V model year.
