yes, I had the xmd1 with 2 wired remotes. now that I've switched out to the M475, I have the same 2 remotes (the ones with no digital readout), plus a wireless remote (will never get used), MP3/WMA playback, Auxilary input, 6 RCA outputs 2 of which are for sub I believe, sirius ready, AND CeNET input/control for ipod or tv or what have you. all for around $140 bucks through amazon. I just installed it earlier today, and the best part, the wiring harness is exactly the same, unplug the old and plug right into the new. simple as that!

One Last Question Yellow

How did this M475 mount up? It looks a little smaller than the XMD1.

While the face of the xmd1 can be deceiving, the H/U is actually standard size. However my mounting whole is just a lil bit to big so I'm gonna hit up the best buy today to see what kind of spacers they have. I'll get a pic up here in a bit.

The control cable is well worth it. It gives you most ipod functions but not all of them. it will cotroll all play functions but setting up randomize playlists and those function need to be done at ipod. It is another item easily located on ebay.
