    or

    Wetsounds XS-10fa

The RMS is the same 250

But I really don’t know what all the other specs mean. So is there a way to really tell which one would be better for the position of being under the driver’s wheel?

the price is a little different but not much

Are you looking to match either of these up with a current amp that you have? the reason I ask is, the Wet Sounds comes in either a 2ohm DVC or 4ohm DVC configuration. This gives you better options for pairing up with and amp.

    (DVC = Dual Voice Coil)

Ok, cool, you got lots of options! Are you just looking to add a sub and a sub amp? Are you looking to do a mild upgrade on the whole system? What else do you have in the boat right now?

You could go with the Syn Micro and the xs-10fa 2ohm DVC and have 250W's @ 4ohm
          or
          The Syn1 and the 4ohm DVC and get 450W's @ 8ohm, or go with 2 10's at 4ohm and get 850W's (400 to each)
          or
Go with the Syn4 or Syn6 if you wanted to power in-boats or towers and a sub!

I really dont know what i want to do with the system. i was thinking about just doing everything kicker with the kmt6, 4 km6200 and two amps; the mx350-4 marine and the zx450-2.

            or

Get 4 wetsounds xs-650 and a sub and amp both, but i dont know what amp to go with?

The KTM6's and the zx450.2 is the perfect match For the in-boats, may I suggest going with the mx700.5 and adding a CompVR-10 4ohm DVC sub to go along with your km6200's. The class D sub chnl of the mx700.5 will deliver 420W's to the CompVR and the km6200's will receive 70W's ea.

Easy.....Wet Sounds Syn4 - In Boat Speakers and Subwoofer:
              - (1) to (2) pairs of XS-650 and a single XS-10FA subwoofer or XS-12 subwoofer bridged at 4 ohms. Power: 125 or 200 x 2 and 400 x 1.

i dont own a wetsounds amp(YET) but i have installed a few. IMPO out performs the kicker hands down, looks better to. And when it comes to customer service the wetsounds team is top-notch.

I don't own them yet either, but have been researching speaker systems. I am going with wetsounds when I upgrade. Just my 2 cents worth.

                    Jake,

Here is a thread w/ some pictures of my Wetsounds sub and amps I am adding. Chptrl can set you up, he was a big help for me. I would have went w/ the kicker 700.5 amp but already had 1 alpine and got the other 2 really cheap.

I have been really lucky w/ my stereo install, the guy who is helping me puts stereo's in car professionally and for competitions. Also my I bought the boat from him when his father died. His dad was my best friend and I skiied on this boat since it was new. He always wanted to put a stereo in it but his dad didn't want too I guess. I will keep you posted.
