I just bought a pair of dbot5 8" tower speakers off of ebay, and I've got to tell you they sound amazing. Very very loud, ultra clear. I heard a couple of wetsound set ups last summer, but it had been so long since I heard them, I couldn't come up with a comparison. I just remember how bright the wet sounds were.
The dbot's are also bright but I don't think as much as wetsounds. I love the wetsounds speakers but I didn't really want to drop that much coin especially with how much I've already spent this winter.
I just came across a great deal on some horns so I had to jump.
Just wanted to let you know about these lesser know speakers. And I know that some will say they copied other designs, etc, etc... But I don't really care, all I care about it is how they sound.
Oh and they look really sharp as well, very heavy duty construction.
