This morning I discovered that my boat receiver and two amps were stolen from my boat. Lovely! Since all I ever run is my MP3 player in via AUX to my Clarion I was wondering if I could just get a WS420 and run directly to that via my MP3 player? I am talking about super simple, a headphone to AUX setup. I have a creative labs ZEN so I don't have interface options like the ipod has, by the way.

Cool, thanks. I read a bit more on the Wetsounds site about the WS420 and I now understand how it would work. Something for me to think about since I am without a headunit. The only con, besides price of the WS420, is that my transom remote would no longer function. At least I have some time to think about it, putting the boat up for the winter this weekend. Any other advice is always appreciated.Comment

the WS420 is a great addition. I usually run the mp3 player to the deck as it fits well in the glove box but have used the AUX output and input on the WS420 to connect to other boats. Keep in mind that the WS420 is only an equalizer and will require an amplifier.Comment
