Thank Clarion. Mine does it from time to time. It seems like the interface doesn't like the frequent shutoffs the boat gets when switching riders. When it happens I usually unplug the ipod and plug it back in and everything is all good again. That is my experience with the CCA-IPOD cable, I'm not sure what interface you are using.

This happens alot, when your battery is losing juice. Ever since I got my new 150 amp alternator, I no longer have this and other issues at all. But it used to happen frequently.
^^^^ Yep, must be Clarions fault, cause nobody has ever had a problem with Ipods and Itunes
J/K,
It could have something to do with the fact that Tige wires the H/U to the ignition switch and it powers down/powers up each time you shut it off to change riders. The problem could be the Ipod software, I cant count the number of times ours has locked up and even been wiped clean after syncing and then unplugging from PC.
If it was factory installed, I'd say that the boat came with the AE1276B interface, witch is worlds apart from the CCA-Ipod controller, which I dont think was really intended for the marine environment.

Another thing the clarion will do, is the remotes will stop working, the light is on and all, but you can't FF or RW or pause. It is the same issue, turn it off and let your battery charge, it will work again. This only happens to me now when I idle for a while.
We never have this problem with the turntable we use in our boat
How many nickles on the arm does it take to activate the Anti-skip?

I put an extra knobby thing under the tone arm and use a rubber band around the two; works pretty well.
Sometimes though I have to replace the rubber band due to sun degradation. I am considering rubbing some SPF 50 on the rubber band to see if it will last longer...
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

I agree that in my situation it is the stereo wiring that is getting the adapter out of sync. It seems that there isn't enough time between off and back on that gets them confused.

Although I dont use the Interface, we have both Ipods and Others used onboard, I didnt like having to wait for radio to come back on when going from "run" to "ACC" so I moved the power an unused switch so it's turned on/off manually. Sat takes about 10secs to reacquire
For anybody that wants to do this and have it look good, Moombas come with an illuminated "radio" toggle switch with music notes on it. I got one on the way.

How do you keep your disco ball from flapping in the wind? Also, have you mastered the moonwalk while surfing yet? What about that spin move (you know, the one where the dude spins on his back)?
