Here are a few pics of a Kicker Comp VR12 I installed in an RZ2
Open-faced box made from 3/4 MDF equaling 1.5cf and mounted to the back side of the drivers bulk-head. Brush on Hurculiner.
Box was made with max height and width as to minimize storage eating depth.

Cardboard pattern used to cut away carpet and for pre-drilling mounting screw holes. I used 2" #8SS screws. The template allowed me to pre-drill the holes in both the box and wall.

Carpet removed. A bead of silicone sealer was placed around the wall before the box was secured in place.
