Depends on if you are bridging, and whether or not you want stereo sound.

If you are bridging, and use the internal signal pass through, you will be plugging left and right RCA's both into amp1. Amp one will be bridged, and thererfore will be playing a mono-summed signal.

Didn't think about being bridge mode.............this brings me to another ???? would it be better, or can you, bridge the RCA's - left in Amp1 and right in Amp2??? Or does it really matter?

you want to use a y cord to put the left signal into both channels of amp 1. Then use another y cord to put eht right signal into amp 2.

You really want to make sure all channels of the amp have signal when bridging, and when bridging, you really do need to use the y-cords...
