xmd3 rca output's????

I have the xmd3 and have been using both sets of outputs. When I fired up the system one of the sets is not working . I tried swapping out the amp and the rca cables but they were not the problem. I got it narrowed down to the headunit. It just seems odd that only one set would have a problem when the other set works fine. Am I missing something or did it go poop?

RCA outs on source units do go bad. I have never been impressed with anything Clarion makes or the quality thereof.

I have never seen one go bad. It may give me an excuse to buy a new HU that I can control a ipod with.

I figured it out. The outputs are not bad. I remembered a setting on the xmd3 that needs to be set on "rear" for the outputs to work. I switched it and they work like a champ.

Flip that switch and then show the wife how it's " broken." New one needed!

Yeah, that could have easily worked. But I don't feel like spending the money.
