Well, my neighbor is selling a 10 or 12" Sony Xplod Sub in a box for $30. Being that I am in the process of hooking up my amp, I was wondering if I should buy it and hook it up too. My current stereo only has a 2 channel output, so I bought a X350.2, the seller accidently shipped me a X300.1, but the X350.2 showed up today. I was looking at the book and it shows using it for both tower speakers, and also a sub (wiht High Pass Crossovers). I have no idea what these are, but it makes me think I should buy the sub for $30 and hook it up.
Another option, would be buy the X300.1 from the ebay seller, and not ship it back, but then I'd have to daisy chain the 2 subs togeather (not sure if this is a good idea either).
I don't know which route would be better, but I'd rather go the crossover route. This way I won't have to buy and run more power cable for the 2nd amp. But then again, I don't know much on the subject.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :-)
thanks!
