Unless there was a change, he is going with a ZX550.2 for a set of Pro80's and the Zx700.5 for the cabin's and a sub. Looking at a possibility of 160A's draw.

I hope this is still correct, cause I steered him towards the one breaker before realizing he was going to do the tower speakers now

          Even better http://www.electricvehiclesusa.com/category_s/126.htm

I'd say go with the: KTCBM180 180 Manual Reset Circuit Breaker.

I'd rec. 0ga amp power wire from the battery to breaker, breaker to Dist blocks, and 4ga from blocks to amps.
          chp,

dist blocks ordered. My local bestbuy did not have them in stock. My pro80's I ordered from Monster won't be in until next week anyway, so no biggie.

So how much 0ga and 4ga amp power wire should I order? Where should I install my amps, dist blocks, and breaker?

I am getting excited that I will have a stereo soon. I again apologize that I am so uninformed.....but hopefully I only have to learn this once and will be able to help someone else out in the future.

My battery is under the glove box in the storage area....is this the best place to locate everything else? I will build an amp rack to fit in there as I saw one in a post by another member on here. It gave me the idea to attach the dist blocks and amps to it. The sub will go in the obvious area under the driver side dash. I am just wondering how much wire I will need. and what I need to connect everything together.

So, the "house" battery will be located in the same are as the amps? If so, I would run 4ga from the battery to each amp, skip the blocks if you want. At that short distance, you wont need 0ga. You will still need circuit protection.

How will this battery be charged?

Never thought of that. What would you do?
