Has anyone experienced this with their stereo remotes? The remotes will not work with the ignition switch on or when the engine is running. This started last fall and doing the same this year; they both work fine with the engine off.
Chptril gave me advice on checking the cables - I disconnected and reconnected the cables at each remote and head unit, but found nothing that appears to be wrong. This is the Clarion unit that was the Tower of Power option in 2001 that included front and rear remotes, amps, tower speakers, & sub.
Since the stereo is located the glove box the remotes are most useful to me under power. Any ideas or suggestions about how to troubleshoot this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks
