    And Yet another WETSOUNDS install

It still needs some trim pieces competed to give the stealth look but its coming along so I figured I would share.

I am so excited with this system, it pounds hard!

Here is a list of components.

    Head unit: CDM5
EQ: WS420EQ flush mounted into dash.
Amps : Hertz ( 3 total) HP4 X2 ( 1 for the in boat and 1 for the tower) and a HP2 for the two subs.
    In boat: 6 x WS XS650's
    Sub's WS XS12
    Tower: WS Double Up.
Boxes: Custom water proof boxes, both are 1 CF sealed. 1st sub replaces the stock 10 WS sub under the dash the 2nd box is in the storage locker, down firing into the hull.... (WOW is all I have to say)

Wire: Stinger HPM series. O AWG to the dist block then 4 AWG to the amps. 10AWG to each sub, 14 AWG to all in boat and tower speakers.

    RCA's : Stinger HPM

Here are some pics of the work in progress. Should have it done all done in a few weeks.

Nope, no problems at all. We cut the dash, so the EQ is flush mounted with the bottom of the dash. Im pretty tall so I wanted to go this route to ensure I had the clearance I need.

You are going to have to send me some pics of the install and the boat.

In fact, anyone who has some great pics, send them to me. I want to add more to our gallery.

That looks like a Bad *** system. What kind of watts are you running to the speakers? What is your battery setup? I bet the XS-12 sounds amazing, I can't wait to hear it. Real nice install!

I actually have 2 of the XS12 subs. and it pounds! The amps are awesome! These are the same amps that Tim uses in his Wetsounds demo boat.( I have 3 and he has 6 LOL) They are monsters and the power is insane. Big coin but worth every penny.

Tim can comment on the power of the amps. They are very conservative on there power ratings but really put out. My local shop sells them ( Hertz is also Audison from Italy)

I am lucky to have a great audio/video shop in my area (Valley Toys) that only carry's the best of the best of the best. Because of Tim's advice these went into the boat.

O battery set up is lacking right now. That will have to be improved very quick. I just have the basic 2 battery set up from Tige.

I plan on 2 or 3 batteries for system, still doing my research on that.

How much does the sub in your storage area help out? I was considering this, but thought its effect would be minimal. What does making it fire downward do for it vs. a sealed box?
