Help- Kicker ZX 700.5 amp.

Yesterday i was sitting in my car talking to one of my friends and all of a sudden i heard a small popping noise from the back and some smoke started coming out of my amp. The music was barely up and i havent had my subs turned up in a while so nothing was hurting or putting strain on the amp. Now the power comes on but it does not give any output to my subs. Does this mean the amp is pretty much fried or is there something i can do?

yeah once you let the smoke out you cant put it back. time to go sub shopping.

do you think it hurt my subs at all? i wouldnt think so seeing as they were turned practically all the way down

No, that is too extreme....

FYI, and sort of cool, the Liquid Force 'bu, (the green and black one) that they campaigned a few years back submarined with a 700.5 on it.

One of my buddies in the Malibu plant dried and cleaned out the amp. It still works...

I'll take a crack at fixing it before it gets used for target practice. I have a Ruger I need to shoot a few rounds out of anyway.
