    How do you do the calc the play time for a setup of:

    amp 700.5
    amp 650.4

    do you look at the total ratings of 700 and 650 => 1350, or breakdown the RMS values of 70X4 + 210 and 120X4 =>970.

    battery would be a kinetik HC1800: Ah - 81, Amps 1900

      If my math is correct:

      zx700.5 = 70w x 4 @ 4ohm = 8A
      .......... = 410w x 1 @ 2ohm = 14A
      zx650.4 = 120w x 4 @ 4ohm = 11A
      Total @ 100% = 33A

      At 3/4 volume (33A x .75) 25A x 8 hrs, you will need a battery(s) with 200hrs .

      I hope this is correct, It's been while since I figured mine.

        I believe the 700.5 is only:
        4 ohms: 70 X 4 + 210 X1 (will be running at 4 ohms)
        2 ohms 85 X 4 + 420 X 1
        Judging by the numbers I think you calculated it using 70 but typed 170.
        the 650.4 is correct.

        I realy appreciate your help, i've noticed you help a lot of people on this site, that really cool of you to do that.

            Got a question? I am fixin to start my install and want to double check and make sure I am going to have enough power. I will be running 4 interior wetsound 6.5's and one wetsounds 12" sub I will be powering them with a Kicker ZX750.5. For the tower I have 2-wetsounds pro 80's running on a JBL 400wx2 amp and a Wetsounds WS-420 to tie it all together. I am undecided on a head unit, I am leaning towards a Kenwood right now.

              You should be in good shape. Kenwood's a good HU. I have the Kenwood amps as well. They really sound clean when matched up with the Wetsounds speakers.
