After some great input from Phil, we have made a minor adjustment to the diagram.
The circuit breaker at the Perko needs to mounted as close to the Perko as possible and the Iso/combiner will need to be mounted with the Kinetik, as close as possible.Attached FilesMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I couldn't find anything with a 0 gauge "out" but that second one may work. If the two inputs are connected--you could effectively use the 2nd "input" as an output. Yo umay also be able to ream one of the holes out a bit if you're handy.

Well the boat finally comes out of storage next Monday. I've been busy building the box for the sub
Here's the box after a few coats of resin.
Now it's just waiting for the carpet. I've picked up a couple more items to throw in the install. I'm switching out my old deck for the Clarion CMD4 and I also picked up a Harman Kardon Drive and Play to control the ipod. I was reading another thread about how to connect the box to the boat and it got me thinking. What is everyone else doing? Should I just screw it into the wall under the drivers seat where the current sub is or put the box under in the storage and attatch it there? Is there an advantage as far as sound is concerned? My current sub is a 10" open air in the wall under the dash.

Looks good Micah Your stuff should be there tomorrow, I hope.
Box look great. If it were me, I would mount the Sub in the factory location, and then cut away the carpet, add a bead of sealer, and mount the box to the back side of the wall. I like having the leg roomMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I would suggest one thing to add though; specifically to add some support under the box to keep the foot well wall from carrying the weight of the woofer and the box. It might prevent some heartbreak when the seas are rough...It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

On another note, I was on the phone with Ble Sea yesterday inquiring about the Battery Link ACR and if it would work the way I planned on using it. We spoke for quite a while, I even sent them my wiring diagram. The conclusion they came to was that it was not ment to be used in that application but it will certainly work. It is meant to go between two batteries but the way I am using it it will work great. They just never planned on it being used like that. It will basically control the voltage charge the Kinetik is receiving and it will combine the Kinetik during the charging cycle and disconnect from the other battery banks under discharge. It was all over my head but they approved of the application with the two different style of batteries.

I'm glad they concurred with us It defenitaly was a little out of the ordinary diagram. I've haven't installed an ACR yet, but my gut said it should work.
