Buffman - I am here in Michigan. Do you know what the seperate I-Pod control option is?

Also, what is the model of the Clarion unit in the Z1 - I think I have the owner's manual - but it just says CDM5. There is some part mentioned - eaXXXX. something like that, that is the I-pod adaptor - I can't see it anywhere for sale on-line, but they make it look like a seperate box/module in the manual.

I did not order the remote at the stern, and am thinking I should have as it would be harder to install (plus like $160 for parts). Then worry about the I-pod hook-up later.
I would hide that in the glovebox anyway.

Exactly I believe it is a CDM5 I will double check soon and I would highly recommend the transom remote now the IPOD adapter can be done at any time in the future as it does just hook to the stereo and sits in the glovebox etc.
Personally I would order everything you want that will be harder later.... ie - heater, shower, transom light and remote etc... stereo stuff is way easier to deal with down the road than the above things IMHO.
      Rock on!

The head unit model number is CMD5, that is the Clarion unit that Tige currently uses. The eaxxxx ipod unit is the old one that no one really likes. It looks like Tige is offering the new one (CCA ipod) from Clarion.

Most anything can be added by either you, dealer, or accessory/stereo shop, but keep in mind, anything done at the factory will carry the 3 yr warranty from Tige
