iPod Mounts

For those of you that use iPods, do you have a mount that go's on the dash to hold it? Or what do you use if anything?

I usually just set mine in the cup holder because I handle it so much to change songs. I can never make a playlist I like for the lake.....

I do the same.

I bought the HK, but did not like the idea of a fixed control at the driver, thus eliminating the passenger from changing the songs. So I put the HK in the car, and will continue to use the ipod itself with a cable.

ipod mounts

I widened the hole in the bottom of the cup holder and put the wire through there. It sits nicely and you can pull the wire out long enough to change it easily. Just went with the headphone jack and into the head unit. Works great and much better than something like the FM transmitter. Then get a charger to plug in the 12V socket right there if your Ipod gets low on juice. Works great!
