I have the orignal clarion amp powering the interior speakers and the sub. Did not touch that except running the power off the distrobution block. The bow speakers are powered off the HU. I am going to get a 5 channel amp to power all interior speakers and sub next but the budget is in serious need of repleshing at the moment.

How do you have the speakers hooked up to the amp? It's 2 channel from the looks of it. 8s on 1 channel and 60s on the other or one of each on each channel?

Each channel powers a Pro 60 and an MB-8.

The MB-8 is designed for those who prefer more mid bass punch vs those who want pure volume. They are designed to pair nicely with the PRO 60 or even PRO 80. Yes you can hear them at 80 feet.

There are so many ways people use their tower systems. Some want the loudest on the lake, some surf more than wakeboard, some hang out in party coves.

So we like to have different options for each persons listening style. The MB-8 with the PRO 60 is our "double up" system. Designed for those who want more punch but are not wanting to be the loudest on the lake. It is the happy medium in terms of output and balance.

Thanks all. I just sold a bunch of my old Rhino parts , so I ordered a Cadence 5 channel amp today. Also as a side benefit gave me more room in my garage

I have only heard the MB-8's as I need to solder the other speaker connectors to the original speaker wire. It was getting dark and it is going to be a pain soldering wire 7 feet up. Should have thought of that before I started

Cant wait to get the new 5 channel amp. Then I can pull the bow speakers off the headunit and wire to new amp, This way the interior speakers and sub will be on rear output and tower on the fronts. Hopefully the amp comes this week.

Thats the one. I paid $15 more dang it. I had to pay sales tax but got free shipping. Why wasn't that on ebay when I ordered last week

We have the same boat, just different towers. I relocated the top mount on the bimini and all work out fine.

I just got a Cadence TXA6004 for $145 off Ebay !! I'm working onthe same setup as you. I'm getting that FXA 5100 to replace my Clarion, I'll use that for the in boats and the XS12 sub. I'm dying to here your opinion on how it sounds, keep us posted!!
