So I ordered a second sub, should be at my house waiting for me today. I'm putting one under the helm and one under the sun deck, side to be determined. I'm starting the install this weekend. Question on locating my cabin speakers. I currently have 4 cut outs for the existing system, but one is under the helm and I'm going to cover it up with the sub. The other 3 are cut into the fiberglass under the seats. I'm pondering buying another set of KM620s and putting them in the bow since there are no speakers. Thoughts on whether I should put cut them into the storage area under the seats or try to have something cut out of the vinyl backrests on the sides. I am probably going to get it reupholstered soon so I could have allowance made for that when I get it done. That still leaves me with 1 extra speaker to locate somewhere...I could probably put it in the back somewhere, but I would have to protect the magnet in the storage compartment so it doesn't get hit by a ski or something. Thoughts. I'll take some pictures this weekend and show you what I'm thinking.Honey I'm home!

I did some bow speakers in the seat back on my 1st boat and it looked real good. The foam was thick enough, that when I tighened down the screw, the speakers sucked into the foam and hardly was felt when laying against them.
Here is how I did mine: With the seatback off, decide where you want to locate the speaker and mark and cut the hole through the back only. Using a razor knife, cut out the foam. Now cut the vinyl like a pizza, but not to the same diameter of the speaker hole. Next, lay the seatback back in place and mark hole to be cut out in boat, and cut.
Re-mount seatback, plug up speaker wire, lay speaker into place. Drill your pilot holes and secure speaker.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

So far today I got 1 sub in under the helm, the second one doesn't fit where I want it to so I've got some more pondering to do. Power run to 1 amp, need to get a couple connectors for the other amp. All the speaker wire run except for the tower, since it is taken apart for my new top section. I'll probably do that tomorrow morning. Whoever wired the amp and speakers that were in there before needs to be slapped. The amp (80A) and stereo (10A) were wired to the 30 amp accessory switch, no wonder it cut out when you turned it up. Plus the amp was getting power from 12 ga wire. In any event, I've got the 4 cabin speakers in also. I've got to get it all hooked up to the amps and the power hooked up at the battery too. We'll see how much I get done tomorrow, I'm guessing not much since I need to let my body know what its like not to be crammed in some compartment for a whole dayHoney I'm home!

Vegas is the shizzle... Lately I only get there for work so it kind of sux...
But that's why I like living in PHX, 6 hours to Vegas or L.A... 3-4 hours and you can be at the beach, the mountains, sand dunes, Mexico...
OK so Mexico's not that great but they do have cheap seafood...
