I have the CMD4 in my boat and love it. I installed a CMD5 in a 20V a couple of months back and thought it was cool.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

These will fit in the same hole. You can hook up Ipod to using either the RCA Input on back of unit, or with a Cnet EA1276. Most dont like this because it sees the Ipod as a CD changer.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Do not forget to consider the new Sony marine products.
There are two radios that have iPod control built in, and there is no need to purchase an accessory adaptor for that function.
The Sony radios also can be controlled by multiple wired remotes, and there are two good ones for marine applications, and one has a digital display. Both are rated as submersible, so real fine for transom locations. It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
