First Stereo install, need help with components

BTW, make sure you make sure that you find out how well the H/U controls the iPod. I really like mine because I can change play lists, change modes (i.e., playlist, artist, genres, etc.), change songs, turn on shuffle mode, etc. They usually list these things in the technical specs.

Great that is what I wanted to know. Mine is in the glove box so that should work fine. That give me a lot more H/U to choose from. I have Kenwood in my Denali, so I wouldn't mind keeping with them.

I have 3 Kenwood Amps on my head unit. I use the fader to shift volume from the tower speakers to my boat speakers. The nice thing about my Kenwood amps is that I can daisychain the amp for the boat speakers and the amp for the sub from the same line-out on the H/U.

I'm sure this is possible with the other amps as well.

And when you get HU, IPod interface, wiring, amps, 6 main deck spearkers, tower speakers, subwoofer,etc. then you sink a small amount more of cash with 4 separate vol controls: Bow, Main, Tower, Sub, plus a sub enclosure (all a must ), link:

Where do you have six main speakers located? I only have four. Two in the rear seat and two in the bow. Just curious where the other two are located.
I do like the idea of separate controls for the speakers.

I've got 6 (factory installed) cabins also.

2 in the bow
2 in the port side main cabin (1 below cooler by cupholders, 1 below corner seat by cupholders)
2 in the starboard side main cabin ( 1 under drivers console, 1 behind drivers seat)

Remember, he's got a 21v. There's not really a place to put extra speakers.
