Ive had this problem with my amps as well. Ill hit chop and itll cutoff not turn on. I have to turn the stereo off then on in like 5 secs then its up and running again. I starting thinking if its not a wire maybe its overheating. So I opened up the front compartment so it can ventilate after a long time of running the stereo and it was fine. I figure in another year im gonna sell this one and get another one sooooo who care.
I know its a headache just take it to the shop and have them Rewire everything. Its gonna cost you some pesos but hey better waste a couple on rewiring than spend MORE on WHOLE new stereo system cause of a short.
Goodluck!

IT was weird because we out and it was working then we got back to the dock, shut the engine off, and it kept working so we left it on swam. Then it cuts out. I go over put my hand on it and its burning hot! Later over the weekend it worked everytime never cut out always turned on. We noticed our humming noise was back, from the blower and taps...We think maybe our added ground to reduce that feedback maybe was causing problems. Phil spharis chp? any ideas?Common Sense is not so Common
