    Wet Sounds

    Ok my wife said she wanted to get new tower speakers, she ok'd me to get some wet sounds. I was thinking of either getting 2 pro 485 or the 3 some (a pair of pro 80's and a pro 485). I have not heard them first hand, but everyone says they are great. Who has some, what are the pro's and cons, and what amp & how many watts. Any info is greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance.

    I have the 3 some because I turn the Pro 80's around when we are beached to listen to the tunes. If I didn't do that I would run the pair of 485's.

    Trust me when I say this, they are the loudest clearest speakers you have ever heard! You can hear your music at 80 feet out very clearly and the way it projects the sound the people in the boat aren't getting killed by it.

    With my 3 some I am running a Kicker ZX 850.4

        I have two Pro 485s and am running them with an Eclispse XA4000 that uses the IcePower chip. It's a very efficient D class amp that doesn't take a lot of power and remains relatively cool. It puts out 350 watts RMS per channel. The 485s can take a lot more but mine are very loud with this amp.

          wet sounds

          I have a pair of diamond audio on my tower right now, i am planning to put them on the front of my tower facing the bow. Also anything on wet sounds 10" sub as compared to the rockford m10? Thank you for all your help once again.

            Go for the 2 485's

              I don't know anything about their subs, I have a TC Sounds, but I am interested in their 6.5" inboard speakers. They won't be available until June.

                Get NVS's, they are louder IMO.

                  I was at Copper Canyon last weekend and some dude had 4 of the NVS Entity's on his tower and you could hear his boat over everyone. He was about 100 yards away from us.

                            There was a BU with 4 pro 80's that was louder than the MB with 8 6x9's on the tower(6 back and 2 down) right next to it.... Its was a stereo war all day long.

                              that pic you have is Duane demoing the 8's and the 10's. I have the 10's, they don't make the 8's any more as they just didn't sell
