Finally finished with Alternator, Battery, and Stereo Install

I was able to finish everything by this weekend and take it out for its maiden voyage on Saturday.

Here are my isolator, switch and adding 2 additional batteries for a total of 3. I fused the power line to the amps with a 200 amp fuse and then I have Maxi fuses at the amp, so I should be well protected there. I had to move my shower and TAPS pump to get the 3rd battery to fit. I put my battery switch on the transom, so all I have to do is open the engine cover to switch it. I use 2 gauge and 4 gauge depending on the length of the run for the alternator and isolator connections. My new alternator came listed at 160 amps plus from DB.

I placed the amps and subwoofer in the compartment in front of the driver's compartment. I was going to mount one of the amps on the hull side using abs and glue, but figured a way to mount it on the front by re-routing the heater hoses. So I have my 2 amps, subwoofer and heater in that compartment. I had to remove my heater just to get my upper body to squeeze in there. My amps are Eclipse class D amps that use the Ice Power chip. They do not generate a lot of heat. I was worried about the heat in that small compartment, but after several hours on a hot day, the amps were just warm, not hot. I pulled a "razz-a-ma-tazz" and put my line control knobs just below the dash like Razz did. I have a tcsounds 12 inch sub. I was going to build a box, but I don't think I have any room to do it. Right now it sounds great in that compartment. I wonder if my heater hoses are acting somewhat like a ported box when the door is closed? The 2 Wetsound 485s really rock, when I was tuning my amps, my neighbor about a block away said he could hear the music clearly. I had several neighbors come over to check them out.

I removed the carpet where the amps are mounted. I noticed that most people haven't I guess I was worried that it would make the amps run hotter or maybe melt the carpet. I am trying to decide if I should put the carpet back in--probably won't, too much work to pull everything out again.
