What would you use it for?

Arc audio has a strong reputation for amplifiers, but this one seems underpowered at every step if it were my system.

I have 75 watts to each interior speaker and 300 Watts to my sub, and it sounds pretty strong. A really good sub will be way more thirsty for power than mine is.

Depends on if you are building a good, great, or Holy shiite! type of system.
    Be excellent to one another.

Well, I want the Holy shiite one eventurally.

      1) To start, use this amp to power the speakers in the boat(Polk db650) and maybe a woofer added to this (currently the deck is powering the speakers inside the boat).

      2) The next step (maybe 3+ months from now) to add a set of tower speakers with an amp that will be able to handle that, the Arc Amp would power the woofer only, and then the deck will power the internal speakers.

      3) The next step (maybe 6+ months from now) to add another set of tower speakers with an ampt that will be able to handle that plus #2 is still in place.

you can't loose with an Arc amp, but you would be way better off just holding off and building it all at once or at least in stages how you ultimately want it. if you're going to want more power going to your cabin speakers, hold off on that amp and buy one that has the power you will need and just be done with it. i understand it's hard to wait to do it that way, but i've spent way more money than i needed to on installs where i just didn't wait and do it once and the way i wanted it the first time.

I'm running this amp to power 4 polk db651s and a bazooka 8" bass tube and trust me, you don't need anymore power for the db651s or you will blow them. They crank at even half power and afraid to toun up all the way. Amp is way underrated although more wattage for the sub would be great!

Considering that da.bell was asking about this amp almost six years ago, I would imagine that he already made a decision...

                      Make and sold the decision.

No more boat. Sold it last year and life has been easier ever since.

WHAT?? I thought you had two boats at one time.

How can life be easier without a boat. I thought the boat was your true love??

I was right. You found Jesus.

Had two boats yes. Sold both boats yes.

Too many things going on with life. Kids growing up, going onto college, and losing interest. Wife stressing (especially me with all the petty crap and concerns she has) out each and every time we launch the boat. blah blah blah.

I don't have to hear about issues and complaints about the boat. Life is easier

However, my friends do have boats still and I hitch a ride with them.

Yes, I found Jesus jumping the fence from Mexico into the U.S.A.

I would probably burn if I stepped foot into a church or even the parking lot. haha

Dave....this is NOBODY cloaked as a new screen name. I got banned by our buddy Matt for imposing excessive infractions on Nick.

Anywho....I just wanted to say you definitely have a sense of humor and a fun side to you. I had more laughs with our bantering back in the day and I'll actually say I miss you.

As the ole saying goes....if the wife isn't happy...........NOBODY's happy.
