According to Clarion the newer style remotes, CMRC1 and CMRC2 (the round ones) will work with the CMD4 and CMD5. I have an XMD3 and was curious if anyone has connected one of these remotes to this head unit?

I can't answer your question yes or no, but they told me that my remotes off of my xmd1 would work with my xmd3 head unit. The didn't, so I had to buy all new remotes too. Just wanted to let ya know.Originally posted by G-MONEY -
