Does anyone else have issues with ground loop b/c of grounding back to the batteries over such a long wire is required in boats? It's an easy fix, but I am just curious.

I ground mine back and it was fine, yeah so what issues are you having? car guys told me do to it, and make sure the gauge is the same size as your power and you will be fine.Originally posted by G-MONEYComment

This is what I'm planning to do. I was going to ground from amps back to a block, back to the battery. I didn't think there was any other option. What else would you do?Comment

in a boat there is nothing else to do. IN a car if you run too many gounds you can get the buzz, a ground loop avoids this, least the way I took it. On my boat now I have no buzz and I have a loop like this.Originally posted by G-MONEYComment

I have loop, and it's coming off the Head Unit. I think it is due to the ground being shared with so much others (I went lazy and used a shared ground). I am going to redo the power and ground, but for now I threw a coil on the RCA signal wire to bleed it off.http://www.wakeboatworld.com

on mine I have all on one ground, but I have them going through distribution blocks, just like the power comes out and I have zero noise. I plan on doing that on the new system as well. Hope it works.Originally posted by G-MONEYComment
