Here's an fyi for ya, i used the Duplicolor bed liner in a can on my fenders and not only is it cheap but works real well. Not as course as LineX but still a good poly coating. LineX on barefeet may hurt a bit or at least cause a ankle scuff or two! It's rough! I have it on the new truck and learned that from experience! I inquired to have LineX coat the inside of my engine cover to help with noise supression and they quoated me a minimum of $40 to do it. I'm just gonna Duplicolor it instead. It also comes in a quart can for roll-on apps, got it at Wally Mart in automotive."Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

Razz,
I'm gonna pick that stuff up then. I like that idea. I'll pick some up tonight and get those speaker boxes dont with the spacers to keep them off the floor this weekend, and then get the batteries. I'll have to wait a week as my daily driver needs new tires, so there goes the money for the power wire. My 12's, eq and 6.5's all came in today, so I need to go to discovery bay to pick them up. Maybe I can get up there next week. It's coming togetherOriginally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

ok i have used something like that before. I used it to line my trunk of my prelude. Worked and looked pretty good. I just want something to seal the boxes so water doesn't damage. You think it will do that job well enough, or should I have a line x. I guess it really doesn't matter it's the same stuff, basically, and since this isn't a high impact item, it should work, don't you think?Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

that stuff will work perfectly for sealing the wood on the enclosure.
i've used another brand of the DIY liner stuff....Herculiner....on the interior of one of my buddy's trucks. it worked really well, and turned out great. really inexpensive, and all you really need for something like a sub enclosure. line-x is as good as it gets in the bedliner department, but for this application, it could be overkill.
