it reads 3 ohms on both dvc's and they are supposed to be 2 ohm, is this blown?
Make sure your leads are zero'ed

I pressed the calibrate button on my machine and moved the arrow to zero, and then when I touched the leads together they read zero, so that would be good enough right?

I'll leave that for Spharis. I would think that a blown sub would be either 0ohms (short) or mega ohms (open) or some where in between but 1ohm more than spec, I dont know on a speaker

chp's comments sound right to me... Typically a blown woofer has a much lower DCR or shows totaly open. The lower DCR can be due to a few things, burned insulation with coil turns shorted, or insulation rubbed off and shorted to other parts of the coil or the motor.
Can I suggest something? What happens if you use a 9-volt battery and "spark" one of the coils? Will it make a popping sound? Give it a shot.
Also, when you push on the woofer cone, right at the center, does it move, freely and quietly, or does it feel stuck? If it moves, does it make a scraping sound?
I may PM ya; are you where you can yak on the phone right now?
I am where I can talk on the phone now yes. I'm up for all options, I just know I have tried 2 different amps, and all the different ways possible to wire it and the speaker will not perform, at all, so that's where I came up with it being fried.

What was the deal? Tell us; I have a few ideas what might have happened...
Was it in front of the amp, or the amp to speaker wiring?
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
So now you have everything will da get his earthquake this weekend??
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
forgot about that G... I just have to make sure my boat is off the lake when it happens. I don't need a new boat so I don't need to have the lake drain because of the earthquake either.
