tomorrow I just want to go out, run around and tune it a bit, dont' play on skiing boarding or anything. The boat isn't ready for that yet. so looks like I blew my 10 solobaric. Anyone tell me how to tell for sure? can't u put a ohm meter on it and test that? it won't play any music at volume and it hasn't worked on two different amps.

I am assuming which is dangerous to do that it is a speaker you are referring to. If so all you need to do is read the coil ohms rating on the back of the speaker and measure it. If is out of spec well then I would have to say you have a bad one.
That is my guess. I will pull out my school books and check to make sure if it is a speaker.
