a sterio guy told me to put like 3 10's in my boat instead of the 2 12's that I have cuz the sound would travel better in the open area... anythoughts?

its just more waves in an open air, so it will sound better. You have to have more speakers in a boat since it's in an open enviroment. Sorta why I have 3 10's and 2 12's

no not at all. 2 12's sound great in a boat, I Have heard several that have it. Heck I just had 1 before and it was ok. and it was a cheap sub
