Is there a way to store the boat with the perko off and retain stereo presets? I thought I remember reading it could be done w/ a 9V battery? Anyway this would work and how long would it hold?

You could tie a 9V in....it would last a long time. I think it would be easier to just bypass the Perko with your head unit's power wire though.http://www.wakeboatworld.com

I don't have a battery charger and the boat can sit awhile from time to time so I've been in the habit of keeping it in the "Off" to conserve starting power. I took my power feeds (the swithed and memory) off the starting batt and moved them to the deep cycle.
