you guys are killing me. I'll post up some pics, but it's hard. I haven't been home more then 4 days this month. But, excuses aside, I did take some pics, will post them tonight, and then I'll post up some work stuff as well. since this weekend I get to be home

I know you all think I'm all talk, but I'll have some walk to back up the talk soon.

yeah, i'll for sure have to make it loud. It's taking me so long due to one work and two i'm researching, trying to get the best of everything. Plus gotta save a bit of $$ Heck, it's going to cost 5 bills just for wire, fuse holders, dist. blocks and the stuff to get the juice to the amps Oh well, the price you pay to play

Ya know, batteries contain lead and we all know lead = ballast. So, taking your styrofoam cooler concept, adding ice and beer, you get a somewhat more manual ballast system, but given the tune cranking ability combined with tasty beer...you'll be happy.

I know, I know...NICKYPOO's going to tell me to lay off the sauce again

Hey if he gets one of those motorized coolers he can have a third just cruise up and down the boat to alter the ballast and serve beer all at the same time!

BTW, I do have a built-in charger for my 2 batteries, it's just not either of the 2 brands you mentioned. Mine's Pro-Mariner that I picked up at Boater's world.

looking at Xantrex, it looks like it is a better charger, however it's not waterproof so..... I think I'll probably get Xantrex, it looks like it does a few more things, and I'll make it someplace where it will stay dry.

Mine had to be waterproof because I mounted it on one of the battery access panels in one of the rear storage compartments of my V-Drive. Water is always dripping down there from wet riders.

ha ha ha, my first car was a 53 international Pick up truck that my great grandfather bought new then I bought a 82 280zx, put 2 kicker 12's in the back that was fun, they were right by my ears, and I could never hear anything!!
