No they are cheap in comparison. You can add your charger to the battery side of the two switches. Can it charge 4 batteries on one of the three outputs?

I relabeled the items in the picture.

sweet, looks sharp. and then somewhere in there I add the charger. But you can run separate leads from it to your banks of batteries is how you typically do that right? since I'm getting a three bank charger one for each bank it charges each bank separately.

but wait, the way you have it drawn I would only need a 2 bank system! I like that even better as it saves me a bill! right spharis?

No you need three unless you tie your starting batteries together.....

One on one starting battery, one on the other, and one on the audio batteries.

On the back of the 3 way switch you have 3 lugs.
              1 - goes to starter
              2- goes to battery 1
              3 goes to battery 2

You will put one charge to battery 1 lug, and one charge to battery 2 lug

On the back of the on/off switch you have 2 lugs.
              1- goes to isolator
              2- goes to batteries

The third charge goes to the battery lug on this switch.

You might want to keep this topic moving, others will have good options on how to wire as well.

                    Lee does this stuff everyday.

ok, well I'm sure people will chime in. I really want to make it so the batteries charge from the alt as best as possible. I know when I do have to fire it up, I'll want it to charge. Hence why I bought the bigger alt as well. There is going to be some serious draw here, esp since I'm going to have to run fans as well, but they will be small draw compared to the amps. It will be sweet when it's done, but it's going to take me some time.

So any reason for the two starter batteries except for weight distribution and purely backup reasons?

they have a place in the boat where they aren't in the way, and I wouldn't gain anything by taking one out, so might as well leave them both in and stuff. The spare batteries are going in my back locker, which I took out my big fat sac, running two smaller one's and some lead if I neeed it to get the same if not more weight in the back.

Lead/sacs in front if I need it, amps getting stacked in the passenger compartment up near the roof still leaves room for sac and gear below, one sub by my feet, four in the walk way to the front, beging converted to a seat instead of the walk way so girls can have more sun area, or turn around and be a spotter. It will be very nice, not really losing any space what so ever. little in the back, but none when you consider we run the sac full.
