I see what looks like the other end dangling on pic 3 in the port locker. Unless your head has been swapped for something other then a clarion marine, it will have the mating connection in the back. There wont be a "cable" other then the Y, if there are two remote AT the back of the head to plug in. With out a transom remote, there may not be a Y AT the back of the head. The Y would be behind the helm where the TT and helm remote come together.

I dont have a transom. Then as you said the Y should be near the TT. Double cheked again and i dont see it. I really dont think there is one. Ill call the Dealer tomorrow maybe they can give me the wire diagram

if you do not have a transom remote then there will not be a Y-Cable. Just the the 8 pin DIN connector from the back of the CMD6 would plug into the 8 pin DIN connector that goes to the TT. You either have a bad CMD6 or the 8 pin DIN Extension cable to the TT.

Had to read your post a few times and look back at your pics,

In your first pics, plug those 2 together.

Then behind the radio in your 4th pic(my 1st - cable circled), that cable plugs into the black cable coming out of your CMD6 I have a arrow pointing to in my 2nd pic and circled in my 3rd pic(stock Photo). You need to take off the black plastic wire cover, you will find the 8 pin din cable buried inside the wire cover. Its in there 100%.

Found the cable at the Clarion. Eveything was ok.

Plugged again the 8 pin in the back of TT

Made a reset on clarion and TT

Still nothing

So is the helm remote working now? If not, unplug that one connector under the helm and try the drivers remote again.

There is also this module under the helm. It's usually buried in the harness above the screen. After talking to Justin I ordered one as I thought this was the culprit (had all the same complaint you have except that issue was intermittent). After finding it under the helm I found that the plug was just loose. Once the plastic tab clicked it never had the problem anymore.

PS, that part number on the sticker is Tige's part number.

Found that module last night, i was about to order a new one today. One more thing i forgot. First time i got out this year, there was already some issue with it. Some letter where missing exemple volume was showing VLUE. Will see !

Installed the new module. Still nothing. I also found a second module unplugged, the same. So i guess the previous owner already had that issue. I know he installed a new clarion before i bought it, could it be the clarion again

By sound control i mean the original command +, -, mute above the TT. I tried another Clarion tonight and a new module, both didnt change anything. I guess the last step is an update of the viper

Not sure I know what you have. There is either a Clarion wired remote or the Tige Touch.
