    Tower Speaker Wire Through Gunwale

My boat is a 2001 2100V. I've done a search and it seems like a few people mentioned that they get a nice clean install by simply using circular speaker wire and running it directly through a drilled hole in the gunwale. Does anyone have photos of this? I'll be running it down the rear leg of the metacraft tower.

I might go that route if I don't like the look of the wire going directly through the fiberglass. Where is a good place to buy a thru hull fitting and wire loom like that?

You will want to use a deck fitting of some sorts. Whether like above or a female deck fitting and mating male connector. They not only act as a waterproof pass thru but as a means of securing the harness. Simply drilling a hole allows water through and the harness to slide in and out loosely.

I looked for a pic of a disconnect, but cant seem to find one. I can supply those for you.

        Found one
